Hospital News and Sock-Gloves
March 24, 2007 9:15 AM

I'm expecting Juliana to be home tonight. I understand she had a difficult time, and had quite a bit of swelling. When I spoke with Tami yesterday the swelling had gone down enough that Juliana was able to watch Dora on her DVD player.

While she was was gone I had a visit to the dentist. I was so glad to have a few nights off because I ended up having all my bottom teeth pulled! I was quite ill for a couple nights, but I'm OK now and looking forward to seeing Juliana tonight.

I had been meaning to tell you all about how creative Juliana is. At school, when the teachers take the kids to the bathroom, they wear disposable gloves. Juliana has lately been taking her socks off and putting them on like gloves. She has gloves and mittens, but she wants to use her socks. One night I came in and she was asleep with her socks on her hands. Another time she had put socks onto her Dora doll's hands. She keeps busy all the time playing, and learning. She's a smart little girl.
