Clara Meade – Columbus Ohio – 07/29/10 11:56 AM

Hi, my name is Clara I am 15 years old and I can across Juliana's story from a song done up for her on youtube.  It was the song more beautiful you by Jonny Diaz.  As I was watching it I had come to realize that everyone really is beautiful.  As I looked at Juliana I just had to smile.  You can tell she lives life to her fullest.  God has done a great thing bringing her into this world.  I know she has touched my life forever, after reading her story something just moved in me.  God is working through her in so many ways.  She has a way of opening the eyes of whoever hears her story.  I am one of nine kids and I have already showed two of my sisters her story, both in witch where touched.  Thank you for sharing your story with us.  As Juliana grows I know she will change the world one step at a time.  Juliana is a BEAUTIFUL angle from God.  My prayers will forever be with your family.  thanks you.

-Clara Meade

Hello Juliana and family.  I came across your site as I was reading of the spanish man Oscar and his predicament.  Anyhow, the purpose of this little note is just to introduce myself and to wish you and your loving family all the best that life has to offer.  It must be hard sometimes having to go through all the procedures and operations you've had to go through, and yet, you still dance around and live life to the fullest.  Truly an inspiration and a joy to behold.  Anyone that would dare make you feel bad about your situation obviously has not found peace yet within their own lives and should be pitied.  I'm sure someone with as much love around you as you have would find that easy to do.  Oh, and you look like a little princess in the pics your mom has lovingly put up on this site.  God Bless you all!

Barbara Kane – Texas – 07/27/10 9:31 AM

I was checking in to see the new pics.  She looks great1 One of my son's was born with craniofacial abnormalities and has some jaw distracions as well.
I know that Juliana's a very bright young lady, but communication is a bit of a challenge, same as with my son.  He has a few words, and signs and gestures.  I was wondering if Juliana had ever experimented with a communication device, like a dynavox? My son has one and it is great because it allows him to communicate with other people, including strangers, without Mom having to translate for him.  It has really helped his independence! Good luck to you all!

William Wages – Chipley Florida – 07/27/10 12:05 AM

Hello,
I was listening to "More Beautiful You" on youtube and saw the video about you and wanted to say hello and to say to you, be brave in all you do because God has all things in his control and he will take care of anything that happens.   Be blessed

lexy – Bristol, Tennessee – 07/26/10 10:45 PM

Hello Juliana, i just want you to know you are an amazing girl.  Your story has inspired me.  You seem to be one of the strongest women out there, and i have total respect for you in that.  You will do great in whatever you do, and don't EVER let anyone get you down with harsh words or actions.  You're beautiful, no matter what anyone says.  You and you're family are in my prayers.  May God Bless You All.  I'd love to keep in touch! I love hearing how you are doing.  Good luck sweetie, in your life.  You're going to do great! :)

Hey there.  I'm Jordan.  I'm only thirteen and I was touched by your story.  I was on youtube listening to "A more beautiful you" by Johnny Diaz and I saw a video about you, so I decided to watch it.  As I watched it I couldn't help but to cry.  Juliana, your story is amazing, wait, let me rephrase that.  YOU are amazing.  As I was looking at your pictures I thought to myself, "I wish I had a best friend like her." I hope to hear more about you, and hopefully hear from you.  Maybe we can dance together one day, since I do ballet as well.  :)
Much love,
Jordan

Adriane Flowers – Shawnee, Oklahoma – 07/18/10 11:15 PM

My favorite emotion is laughter through tears and I've experienced a lot of it this evening.   Baby girl, you are truly an inspiration and your story has honestly brightened a spot in my life that has been rather dim for a while now.   I can't help but feel that I was led to this place at this time by a hand more powerful than my own.   'Thank you' cannot cover the gratitude I have for you and your amazing family.   Stay strong and always remember that beauty is something that has to be felt in order to be seen, and you are absolutely beautiful to me.

With much love,
Addie

Paul – Texas – 07/17/10 2:49 AM

Hi Juliana:

I hope you are doing well this summer.   You are a very brave little girl and you make me smile because its obvious you are a very special girl who is loved by many people.   And I can see you like to have fun with your family and friends!

Let me know if there is anything I can do for you.   Questions about Texas?
Airplanes? (I am a pilot) Horses? (we have horses, too!)

You are growing up fast! I am so proud of you.

Paul & Kelly McCracken
(Kelly is my wife)

Mari – Toronto, Canada – 07/16/10 8:59 PM

Hi,

I can't begin to express how touched I am by your family's strength.

I have always, firmly believed abortion was the way to go under extenuating circumstances (ex.  unable to care for the child, or if the child's quality of life would be heavily affected, as in Juliana's case)—and I still hold firm to my beliefs.  However, after reading about Juliana, I've now realised that every life is important, and even a person with disabilities can live a life just as fulfilling as any other, if not more.

You have shown that responsible, and caring parents -do- exist, and that pro-life is not a bad choice.  Admittedly, I think that Juliana will have many more mountainous quests to overcome in the future, but if she has parents such as yourselves to help her every step of the way—I just know she can make it.

Please keep your faith in Juliana, and I wish your family all the best.

-Mari

Candice – Edmonton, Alberta CANADA – 07/16/10 6:30 PM

Hi Julianna and family,
I first met you while watching either Discovery or TLC (I do not remember).   I too have TCS, though mild compared to yours.   In literature, I would be considered 'moderate'.   Many members of my family have TC.   I am amazed by your spirit! We may look different, but we can tackle the world! I am heading back to school this fall for Nursing, and am very excited! I am 28, and currently have a diploma in Agriculture and spent several years working with people with disabilities.   I've always participated in various clubs and volunteer orgranizations.   I too, had many surgeries, but again, all mild in comparison to yours.   It's never easy, but with God's help, and our determination, we always make it through.   Keep smiling Julianna, you are a beautiful young girl.   To Juilianna's parents, I admire your strength, determination and courage.   Without parents like yourselves, and my mom, it would be a tougher world for us.   Take care and have a wonderful summer!

pammie – ayr – 07/16/10 5:21 PM

Tina Woodlief – Canton Ga – 07/15/10 4:56 PM

Hello Wetmore Family,
I just found out about Juliana's story.  I just wanted to say that you guys are awesome!! You are what parents are supposed to be.  My youngest daughter Emily was born with Dilated Cardiomyopathy.  She underwent a Heart Transplant in December of 2002.  I can't imagine life without her.  I know it's very diffrent from Juliana's medical condition but unless your a parent you just can't grasp how our children make us wake up everyday.  They are why we live.  From what I have seen so far you guys are phenomenal.  Just every now and then give yourself a pat on the back.  You deserve it!! Also, Juliana you are so beautiful in so many ways.  Don't forget, your family and friends love you and God Loves You Too!!! Have a great day and God Bless!!
*Tina*
