Things are really looking great for you Juliana since I first heard your story.   Your progress is amazing and you're a beautiful soul.   Keep up the good work.   You'll make a marvelous ballerina!

Maren – Norway – 07/22/08 5:57 PM

Hi Juliana! Greetings from Norway!

I just saw a documentary about you on the television and I immediatly went searching the net for more information about you.  Your story really touched me.

In the documentary you were celebrating your second birthday.  It was great to see that you, now five years old, are doing great.  You and your sister were really adorable.

I will definatly check upon this site regularly and follow the rest of you and your parents journey.  Tami and Thom, you are admired for your strength.

Love, Maren.

Daina – Levittown, Pa – 07/21/08 10:09 AM

I just wanted to say that once i saw the show about your daughter, i have been trying to get a update.  I finally found your website.  It brought tears to my eyes to see such a amazing girl go through so much and how amazing your both are as parents.  I hope to see a update show soon.  She is very cute.

Shiela Shinholster – Woodstock, Ga – 07/20/08 11:41 PM

Hi Juliana!
I love the picture of you in your ballet outfit! I bet you were amazing on stage, danving circles around everyone :) Looks like you had fun at the beach too—I am so jealous! I love going to the beach—it looks like it was a great day to go too.  Enjoy the rest of your summer—have fun, play hard and be good for Mom and Dad ;)

Kimberlie Dixon – Brunswick, GA – 07/20/08 6:56 PM

I have seen your program on television a while ago and then the other day I saw the news broadcast.  I think Juliana is a beautiful little girl.  Your family has endured a lot and through those rough times have inspired a lot of people.  I know that everyday challenges are just that.....they are challenges, but I pray that things will become easier.  I have a 7 month old and I know how much I worry about her all the time.  I can't imagine the worry that you go through everyday.  I think about you from time to time and wonder what new things you guys are encountering.  Good luck with everything that you guys do.  And Juliana....keep your chin up baby girl.  Your future is brighter than you could ever imagine.

Lisa Morrise – Utah – 07/20/08 12:01 AM

Traveling with all the medical equipment is a challenge!

Be sure to call ahead and tell the airline you are coming.  Ask for assistance getting through security.  Maybe you have done this before! I've used one cart for the equipment and one for the children!

We always asked to gate check our concentrator.  (Take it to the gate and they will walk it down the stairs and place it in the hold—then it will be returned to where you get off the plane instead of hurtling through the baggage system.  This works with strollers too.) We had to have the suction and pulse ox on board with us, of course.  Feeding pump too.

The equipment all had to be double checked by the TSA.  It helped for the airline to know we were coming ahead of time so that they could escort us through security.

Hope it works out for your and that you have a great trip! -Lisa & Kirsten (Pierre Robin and formerly trached for several years)

Greeting from Greece!!

The only thing i want to say after taking a quick tour to your site is: BRavo ! You are an inspiration for all extraordinary kids !!

Hope all your wishes become true !!!

Yvette Rodriguez – Newburgh, NY – 07/17/08 11:15 PM

WHAT!?!?!?!?!? I can't believe how long it's been since I looked at this!! My computer was "down" for a while—not to mention that I'm now competing with all 4 of the ninja monkeys for computer time!!!! Even Elias!!!

I had heard about your successful debut—but hadn't seen any photos.  OH—MY—GAWD!!!!!! How adorable can you possibly be? I'm so grateful to have seen you take your very first dance class...  but MAN!!!! I'm so bummed to not have seen you on stage for the first time!!!! I'm so so so PROUD of you, my darling girl.  You and that crazy sissy of yours are some seriously cool kids.

I love that you got to go to the Myrtle Beach event and meet other awesome kids like yourself.  Even though—we all know that nothing has EVER stopped you from trying to watch over your playmates.  Even when you play with kids who are different than you.  You've never descriminated against my kids even though they don't look like you.   You're such a pure soul and I think—I know—that's why I fell in love with you at first sight.

...and you know, I think I'm with Kendra—maybe you should sleep at the airport when you go on your trip.
Nighty night—we love you.

"your" Freaky

Linda Horner – Madeira Beach FL – 07/17/08 9:27 PM

Juliana and family,

I have watched a couple of your shows on the Discovery Health Channel, Learning Channel or Discovery Channel.  Juliana I admire your strength and determination to live your life to the fullest that you can.   You get that strength from your family, friends, nurse Jeanne and other helpers and medical staff.

I know you are facing more surgeries soon and I am praying for you and your family.   Dr.  Wolf and his team have been seen on one of the discovery channel networks helping other children.   They were featured on a program after I saw him help you and I knew that helping you could help him and his team help other children.

Best of luck on your next and future surgeries and I and I think a lot of people look forward to future televised updates about how you are doing.   I am glad your family set up your website so we can check up and see how you are doing.

I am also praying for your Dad's safety who I know from your Mommy's journal as recently been sent overseas.

Linda

Hi Family!

Thanks for the update on Juliana, Mrs.  Wetmore.  I hope everything works out with Juliana in August.  I love her little blue dance costume.  May I say that she looks very pretty in it! And it's nice to hear that Kendra takes such an intrest in Football.  That's really cool! I know that I'd never in a milion years try to do something like that! Tell Kendra I said "Good for you!"

As I said in a previous message, Juliana is an exceptional girl! I love to hear updates about how things are going.  I once again say that I hope things will work out with Juliana's surgery next month.  She is a strong little girl and best wishes to her!

Hey Juliana and Family,

Thanks fro the update, Nurse Jeanne! That cute that Juliana made friends and had a good time at the retreat! I'm glad to hear that all is well.

My mom took a five year old (her brother is my brother's friend) shopping with her the other day, and we told her about Juliana.  She had a baby doll with her, and she named the baby doll Juliana! Isn't that cute?

I hope that everything is going well and that your family is safe and sound.  Say hi to Juliana and Kendra for me!

Hi, you Sweet, Beautiful Kid, you,

Just a quick note to say hello.  I hope you are having a great time this July.

How was your Fourth of July? I went to a party to see the fireworks on a roof in the city here.  We could see two sets of them, south and east, but clouds were around.  It was a different show than usual.

Hello to your family and Jeanne and your dog.

Love & Kisses,

Karen Victoria
